In an interview with the New York Post back in April 2022, Lindor shared that the couple first met on Instagram and he recalled messaging Reguero after he saw her photo for the first time and thought "This girl is beautiful!"
"We talked for three months and then I met her in Arizona 'cause I was out there for spring training," he continued. "We just hung out and I was like, 'I think she's the one.' At first, I was a little bit like, 'Ahh, I don't want to really commit,' but I knew that she was the one."

Lindor and Reguero were then married on Dec. 16, 2021, at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Fla. — one year after they welcomed their first daughter Kalina on Nov. 4, 2020. The couple announced that their second baby was on the way in another joint Instagram post in January 2023, writing, "Celebrating love & baby número dos coming June 2023 🥰 #soontobefamilyof4."
In another interview with Haute Living in March 2023 — four months before they welcomed their second daughter Amapola in July 2023 — Lindor opened up about how starting a family changed his perspective on baseball and said, "Before my family — my wife and my daughter — baseball was probably 85 percent of my life. Now, it has shifted a little bit."
"Luxury is the ability to get yourself things that bring you joy," he continued. "For me, joy can be found in getting a nice stroller for my daughter... [Or] being able to take my daughter to Disney World — even though I don’t like theme parks — that is a luxury, too.”
