Four Arrested Over Theft of Almost 3,400 Bottles of Wine and Champagne Worth €150k
Police in Italy released footage on February 26 showing the theft in June last year of almost 3,400 bottles of wine and champagne, valued at approximately €150,000, from a warehouse in Bari, in relation to which four people were arrested this week.
The incident happened on June 26, police said. The arrests happened on February 23, according to reports.
Police said the suspects first entered the wine shop pretending to be customers. One of them sprayed black paint on a surveillance camera and tampered with a door in the warehouse.
