Found’s Sir Presents Gabi With a Twisted Offer in New Season 2 Trailer — Watch
An escaped Sir has a novel — albeit highly unlikely — proposition for Gabi in the latest trailer for Season 2 of NBC’s Found.
When last we tuned into one of NBC’s freshman hits of last season, Gabi (Played by Shanola Hampton) came home to discover that Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), her onetime, long-ago kidnapper who she’d been keeping prisoner in her basement, had gotten free and fled.

“I’m the reason you solved your cases. We are indeed partners. The universe will continue to propel us back to each other time and again,” Sir says in the video above. “When I took you all those years ago, I thought I was saving you.It has to be different this time. This time, it has to be your choice.”

“Sir’s out on the loose, wreaking havoc,” Found showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll previewed earlier this month at the TCA summer press tour.
“Mark-Paul is having way too much fun doing that, so that will definitely maintain as part of the show,” she noted, “but we still have our Case of the Week,” meaning: “Gabi is going to struggle to be able to achieve both things.”
As for Sir’s endgame, that “hasn’t changed. Sir’s endgame is Gabi, period,” Carroll avowed. “His endgame has been singular since the day she walked into his high school classroom.”
Added Gosselaar, “My intent is just to have the connection that I have with Gabrielle…. Any sort of connection… whether that’s in the basement, out in the open. But just to have something that keeps us together, in any capacity.”
Found Season 2 premieres on a new night — Thursday, Oct. 3 at 10/9c, where it will now lead out of Law & Order: SVU Season 26.
