Donald Trump is being urged by supporters to follow through with his Gaza threat to tear down the Middle East war zone and create a “MAGA Strip.”

South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace led the way by posting a video of Trump’s remarks on X with the caption: “Let’s turn Gaza into Mar-A-Lago.”

MAGA fans followed suit online with a raft of memes joking about the president’s claim that he might “level the site” and “create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.”

One post shows a basic map of the region with the word “GAZA” in GAZA STRIP crossed out and replaced with “MAGA.”

Other mocked up AI illustrations show Trump in an Arab gown and a photo of a Trump Hotel and Casino from Atlantic City with a Gaza backdrop.

Speaking on Tuesday night alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump claimed he would “do what is necessary” to take over the strip and create the “Riviera of the Middle East.”

The president insisted he was not seeking a “long-term ownership position” but wanted to bring stability to the region.

Critics quickly questioned what would happen to the two million Palestinian residents in Gaza and Hamas, as well as how other Muslim governments would react to such an extreme solution.

“I envision world people living there. The world’s people. I think you’ll make that into an international, unbelievable place,” Trump told CNN’s Kaitlin Collins during the White House press briefing.

Egypt, Jordan and other American allies in the Mideast have warned Trump that relocating the Palestinians from Gaza would expand the conflict and wreck long-term U.S. hopes for a two-state solution.

“He’s completely lost it,” Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy told the Associated Press. “He wants a U.S. invasion of Gaza, which would cost thousands of American lives and set the Middle East on fire for 20 years? It’s sick.”

“We’ll see what our Arab friends say about that,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican and a Trump ally. “And I think most South Carolinians are probably not excited about sending Americans to take over Gaza. I think that might be problematic, but I’ll keep an open mind.”
