Forest Fire Burns on Czech-German Border

The efforts to contain a forest fire burning in Bohemian Switzerland National Park on the Czech-German border continued on Wednesday, July 27, according to the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic.

Saxon Environment and Forestry Minister Wolfram Gunther said the “devastating” forest fire is a result of the climate crisis. He said, “the climate crisis knows no national borders.”
