Food & Wine Classic is going south for the fall.

The culinary event is moving down to Charleston, S.C. in September, a few months after it takes place in Aspen, Colo. Food & Wine, which is published under Dotdash Meredith (PEOPLE's parent company), has hosted the food festival in Colorado for 40 years, but this will be the first time in South Carolina.

Passes for the weekend (Sept. 27-29) are on sale now — and the star-studded lineup was just announced.

The 40-plus events will also highlight Top Chef stars, basketball player (and wine maker) CJ McCollum and local legends like Vivian Howard. More stars are set to be announced soon.

There will be food tours, expeditions, and over 100 wines, foods and spirits in the the Grand Tasting Pavilion over the three-day event.

Unlike its Aspen counterpart, the Classic in Charleston is brought to foodie fans by three major Dotdash Meredith brands: Food & Wine, Southern Living and Travel + Leisure.

The Southern food festival is the first-ever extension of the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. The ski town-version is taking place June 14 -16 for its 41st year.
