On top of many grassroots groups on the ground helping their neighbourhoods with the disastrous aftermath cleanup, one social media user by the name of Francis Lim also offered cleaning services to those in need.

Another user, Quardry Rys, offered to fix electrical items that have been damaged by the flood while small business owners have offered their own mineral water stock to victims.

Auto repair shops like D Rumah Auto Garage and Ms Garage have offered services to clean cars and fix engines at cost. Others offer heavy discounts in light of the hundreds of cars that were submerged in the floodwaters.
