Fog causes major car crash on bridge in China
STORY: One person was killed in the incident, state broadcaster CCTV said. Rescuers said more than 200 vehicles had slammed into each other, state media reported, attributing the cause of the crash to extremely foggy conditions.
In footage shared on China’s Twitter-like Weibo platform, several cars and trucks could been seen crumpled and piled on top of each other on the Zhengxin Huanghe bridge as people meandered about. One emergency vehicle could be seen in the background.
