Two Florida Highway Patrol Troopers helped with the delivery of a baby on the side of a road in Altamonte Springs early on March 30, according to the state’s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
The intervention came as an SUV was pulled over for speeding, Fox 35 reported. A male driver waved his hands, the report said, and when troopers approached they were told a woman in the front seat was in labor.
As the woman’s labor progressed, a decision was taken to have her leave the car. Minutes later, a healthy baby girl was born.
