A long line of motorists waited for COVID-19 tests in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Monday, December 27, amid a surge in Omicron cases across the US.

Video posted by Juan C. Pinzon shows dozens of motorists lined up along the side of a road as they wait to enter the South County Civic Center in Boca Raton.

Pinzon told Storyful that the site was not usually as busy and he said in his post that he had seen other sites with similar lines.

Florida reported a seven-day average of 17,995 daily new COVID cases as of December 28, according to the CDC.
