STORY: Video shared online shows the cars on a ride swinging, allegedly from a wind gust, as people screamed for help. At one point a loud bang is heard and something is seen falling from one of the cars.

According to a Facebook post by Alexis Cresong, the ride malfunctioned and left people “stuck in midair, upside down” with no seat belts.

The ride dubbed “Enterprise” resembles a Ferris wheel and under normal operation it keeps the cars around it from swinging by spinning very fast, according to the Wade Shows website, the company in charge of the ride.
