Florida Building Collapses Into Ocean as Tropical Storm Nicole Approaches

A building collapsed into the Atlantic Ocean in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, on Wednesday, November 9, as Tropical Storm Nicole neared Florida’s east coast, footage shows.

Video posted by Cool Shade Rentals on Wednesday shows powerful waves damaging a public restroom building in Daytona Beach Shores.

The user said that she was “afraid” for Wednesday night, when high tide during a full moon and “Nicole all meet up.” She continued, “I feel this building will completely break off and be swept away” due to damage caused by the storm.
