Flooding and Hail Hit Winemaking Region of France
Regions of eastern France experienced a hailstorm and flooding on June 22, two days after baseball-sized hail caused millions of euros in damage in the country’s southwest.
This footage by Augustin Rieunier shows floodwater coursing along a street in Dijon, the capital city of the Burgundy region, amid heavy rain.
“A disaster for our winegrowers,” Rieunier wrote alongside an earlier video of hail falling. Credit: Augustin Rieunier via Storyful
