Flooding Damages Shopping Center in Western Germany

Catastrophic flooding in the western German town of Euskirchen killed 24 people and 40 others remained missing as of Friday, July 16, local media reported. At least 106 deaths have been reported nationwide.

Around 4,500 residents from villages near Euskirchen were evacuated as power lines were affected and drinking water was deemed unsafe for consumption, according to local news reports.

This video filmed by Instagram user @the__anaking shows a flooded and damaged shopping street in Euskirchen on July 15.
