Chaidez was previously the showrunner and executive producer on the USA Network drama “Queen of the South” and the Syfy shows “12 Monkeys” and “Hunters.” Her other TV credits include “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” “Heroes,” “Judging Amy,” and “New York Undercover.”

She is repped by CAA and Circle of Confusion.

Season 1 of “The Flight Attendant” was based on the novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian. Cuoco played the titular flight attendant Cassie, who wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man — and no idea what happened. The show’s first season was filmed in New York, Bangkok, and Rome. It received strong reviews upon its release back in November, with Cuoco and the series earning Golden Globe nominations.

Rosie Perez, Zosia Mamet, Michelle Gomez, Colin Woodell, Merle Dandridge, Griffin Matthews and Nolan Gerard Funk also star in Season 1. HBO Max renewed the show for a second season back in December given its strong performance on the streaming platform.
