Flashing Storm Cloud Looms Near Louisville
A colossal storm cloud moved through the Louisville, Kentucky, area late on Wednesday, July 20, amid severe thunderstorm warnings and high temperatures throughout the region, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
This footage was captured by Jeff Piles, who said it was taken from his home east of Louisville on Wednesday night.
According to the NWS, low humidity on Thursday would provide a brief respite from the summer weather, but temperatures in the upper 90s would return to the area over the weekend. Credit: Jeff Pile via Storyful
