Flames Erupt From Richmond Recycling Plant During Two-Alarm Fire

Fire crews extinguished a large fire that was burning at a tire recycling plant at Brook Road and School Street in Richmond, Virginia, on February 18.

According to the Richmond, Virginia, Fire Department, the fire was declared a two-alarm immediately, and crews were setting up for a defensive operation on Wednesday evening.

The fire was under control at around 9 pm local time, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported, and no injuries or fatalities were reported.
