Fiza Halim admits to another divorce
10 May – Amid romance rumours with Saiful Apek, former Elite member Fiza Halim recently admitted that she has been divorced from her husband for many months.
The singer, who tied the knot with pilot Aizat Al Jefri back in 2016, revealed that the marriage ended in July last year after the latter divorced her through WhatsApp.
"As for the reason, I would rather keep it personal. I don't want to disgrace anybody," she said.
Fiza stated that the divorce was not easy for her, seeing that it is her third one. She admitted that she needed some time before revealing it for her own sake. Fiza and Aizat have a daughter Aleena who is three.
"I know people will look down on me. But I am just a human who is being tested. I'm not surviving on compliments nor would I die from insults," she added.
Nonetheless, Fiza said that she is also blessed that her first husband, Ahmed Farriq Zainul Abidin, is a good father to their two children.
As for Saiful Apek, Fiza stressed that the two of them are just friends and that she is not the second wife as it was reported.
"There is no such thing. We only met through a variety programme. The photo that has been going viral was actually taken by his wife. We both laughed when we found out about the gossip," she said.
Aside from Aizat and Farriq, Fiza was also married to Akademi Fantasia alumnus Adam in 2013, though the marriage did not last long.
