KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 14 — Hong Kong police arrested five people in connection with the incident involving a falling LED screen that left two dancers injured during boyband Mirror's July concert.

The arrests — involving four men and a woman aged between 40 and 63 — were made during a series of raids across the island state on Friday morning, 8days reported.

The five are said to be personnel from main stage contractor Engineering Impact and subcontractor Hip Hing Loong Stage Engineering Company, including a production manager and project coordinators.

The multi-departmental task force set up to investigate the incident found that the organisers had violated leasing terms for hiring the venue Hong Kong Coliseum.

Hong Kong's Culture Minister Kevin Yeung was quoted by The Standard as saying that the hirer had violated terms by allegedly providing inaccurate information about the weight of the fallen screen and not ensuring its safety and stability.

Responding to the outcome of the task force's investigations, Pastor Derek Lee, who is the father of seriously injured dancer Lee Kai Yin, said it gave justice to all the affected parties.

He said the report brings them one step closer to the truth, hk01 reported.

On his son's condition, Derek said he could now swallow on his own and his condition had stabilised.

He also said Kai Yin needed to change his sleeping position every few hours to avoid bedsores.
