First Snow of the Season Falls in Chicago

The first snowfall of the season was recorded at Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Friday, November 12, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Video posted to Twitter by the NWS shows snow coming down in “buckets” in Romeoville, Illinois, on Friday.

The NWS reminded drivers to “take it slow” when visibility is affected by weather, advising that the snow bursts would continue throughout Friday afternoon. Credit: NWS Chicago via Storyful
