Firefighters catch runaway crocodile that wandered into Chinese residential community

Firefighters caught a 1.5-metre-long runaway crocodile in a residential community in eastern China. Video filmed in the city of Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province on September 26 shows a crocodile with its mouth tied by tape and plastic bags lying outside a resident's garage. Since no one claimed the crocodile, firefighters took it back to the fire brigade. A national breeding crocodile label management number was attached to the crocodile and firefighters hope the owner will come forward to claim it as soon as possible. The video was provided by local media with permission.
