Fire at Utah Tire Plant Sends Smoke Over Interstate 15
A tire plant caught fire near Interstate 15 in Millard County, Utah, on Friday, July 8, the same day two wildfires prompted evacuations in the area.
“There is another structure fire burning west of Fillmore at the Tire Plant which is producing heavy black smoke. This is separate from the #HalfwayHillFire and the #DryCreekFire,” Utah fire officials tweeted.
Crews were continuing to battle the wildfires on Saturday, they said.
