A fire erupted on a high-rise building in the Chinese city of Urumqi killing ten people and injuring nine others yesterday evening (November 24). The Urumqi fire and rescue department team rushed to the scene to fight the blaze, which was extinguished after about two hours. It is understood that the fire started on the 15th floor and spread to the 21st floor. An initial investigation revealed that the fire was caused by a power strip that suddenly caught fire in a bedroom. The video was provided with permission from local media.
