Wascana Street townhouse residents forced from homes as fire crews fight early morning blaze
Several people were forced from their homes early Saturday morning as Regina fire crews fought a blaze at a townhouse on Wascana Street.
The fire department said crews were called to the 1100 block of Wascana, between Fifth and Sixth avenues and close to Pasqua Hospital, just after 3 a.m. CST.
Several intersections were blocked off early Saturday morning, the Regina Fire Department said in post on X (formerly Twitter).
Shortly after 10 a.m., the fire department sent an update reporting there were no injuries and the fire had been put out.

Due to fire, smoke and water damage, people in 22 suites across multiple buildings were displaced, the fire department said.
The mobile crisis unit is helping many of the people displaced by the fire, the department said.
