Fire Crews Battle Three Wildfires Amid Windy Conditions in Northeast Arizona
Fire crews were stymied by windy conditions near Flagstaff, Arizona, on Monday, June 13, as three wildfires – Pipeline, Haywire and Double – prompted evacuations in the area.
This footage, posted on the official Twitter account of the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, shows the windy conditions in Coconino National Forest on Monday afternoon. They appealed to the public in the area not to burn anything and “avoid tools that spark.”
“Please don’t create additional work for our crews,” they said.
