Fifteen-year-old boy from northern India builds remarkable e-bike from scrap

A 15-year-old boy from northern India has built a remarkable e-bike from scrap parts on a budget of just 600 US dollars. Rajan from New Delhi got his hands on an old Royal Enfield motorbike and then careful converted it to run off electricity. The result is an environmentally friendly machine that can travel at around 50 kilometres per hour with a range of 100 kilometres on a full charge. Unfortunately, Rajan can't get a learner's license until he's 16 even though his engineering skills have clearly shown wisdom beyond his years. This footage was filmed on September 19.
