Feeding Frenzy: Sharks Enjoy 'Buffet' of Fish Off Long Island
It was no day at the beach for schools of fish gathered off Southampton, New York, on July 24 as sharks preyed on them.
Drone footage shot by Chrisopher Paparo, who runs the Fish Guy Photos YouTube channel, documented the oddly mesmerizing meal time.
The schools of fish undulate in the video as they attempt to avoid the predators savoring what Paparo dubbed a “shark buffet”.
“I am part of the South Fork Natural History Museum’s Shark Research Team. We are studying the movements of sharks in the waters surrounding Long Island,” Paparo said. He shared the video to @fishguyphotos on July 25. Credit: @fishguyphotos via Storyful
