Faye Wong denies being in quarantine from COVID-19

24 Feb – Faye Wong's camp has recently denied allegations that the singer has been diagnosed with the Coronavirus.

As reported on Mingpao, the rumours was first reported by mainland news source earlier this week, saying that the singer contracted the virus while in Japan with boyfriend Nicholas Tse and had since been in quarantine.

The source added that Faye was in serious condition and could only communicate to her boyfriend via the phone.

On 20 February, Faye's manager Chen Jiaying expressed her annoyance over the rumours, saying, "During this period where everybody is making a concerted effort to fight the epidemic, please spend your time and energy into loving and supporting each other."

Faye's fans also dismissed the rumours as false, saying that it was Eason Chan who were with Nicholas in Japan, and not the songstress herself.
