Fatimah Abu Bakar elated that Sharifah Amani is now married
14 Sep - Actress and acting coach Fatimah Abu Bakar is happy that daughter Sharifah Amani has finally found her right man at the age of 36.
The actress, who spoke to the media about Amani's recent wedding to Impact Integrated CEO Ahmed Faris Amir on 10 September, stated that she is grateful that all of her four daughters are now married.
"Even though Nani's two sisters, Sharifah Aryana and Sharifah Aleysha tied the knot before her, I am grateful that she is blessed with a good and compatible husband, and that his family accepted her well and vice versa," she said.
She also hopes that the "Sepet" actress and her husband will take good care of each other, to have mutual respect and be supportive of one another.
"Being in a marriage is like a roller coaster. Sometimes you're up and sometimes you're down. You have to know how to work it and be tolerant to one another," she said.
On the other hand, when asked about the tea ceremony that the family held, Fatimah stated that it was due to the fact that they have a Chinese descent on her side of the family.
"What we are doing is continuing the tradition of strengthening the relationship," she added.
