Fantasy Must-Starts: Jaylen Waddle

Matt Harmon explains why the Miami WR should have a spot on your roster every week

Video transcript

- With loads of flex decisions to be made every week, let's look at some players who've solidified their place on fantasy rosters. Finally, it's easy, presented by Autotrader. Just like Autotrader makes it easy to buy a car, these players are now surefire options to plug into your lineup each and every week. Matt, who's an easy start for you moving forward?

MATT HARMON: You know, I feel like if Jaylen Waddle had had his 13 target, two touchdown kind of breakout game on the main slate and not, you know, a little weird London game last week, I feel like we'd all be in agreement that he is a guy that you've got to ride the rest of the season. I mean, I know that there's some concern about his low [INAUDIBLE] his low yards per reception, and like he's kind of reprising this Jarvis Landry role in the offense that, frankly, no one asked for an encore on that one, especially for a guy with legit speed. But his [INAUDIBLE] is actually around 9.1 with Tua as the starter. He's been more productive with Tua. That's kind of to be expected. Jacoby Brissett is a [? check-down ?] artist anyways behind a bad offensive line.

Like, obviously, I'd like it to be north of 10. I'd like it to be in the double digits. But nevertheless, like, having that higher with Tua I think gives me some confidence. And again, the target volume is there. DeVante Parker out again this week. Matchup with the Falcons. Like at some point, Jaylen Waddle is going to take all of this volume and all of his speed, and mix it together in for some big plays. Why not this week against the Falcons? Absolutely I think he's a must-start, and I think he's a guy that you're probably going to be playing as your wide receiver three, or maybe even a low-end two the rest of the way.
