Fantasy Must-Starts: Cordarrelle Patterson

Andy Behrens explains why the Atlanta RB should have a spot on your roster every week

Video transcript

ANDY BEHRENS: Yeah, I'm going to take a guy who's both a wide receiver and a running back. We don't get a lot of dual eligibility situations in fantasy football, but we have one with Cordarrelle Patterson. And it's been so friendly. And it's going to continue to be friendly as we get into these very difficult biweeks.

Patterson so far on the season, he's got five touchdowns. He's averaging over seven yards per touch. He's been great. He was doing a lot of that while barely playing, while only playing about a third of the snaps for Atlanta. And then in his last time out, granted it may have had something to do with Calvin Ridley being out, but he played north of 50% of the snaps. That was great to see.

But again, in these terrible biweeks, we're going to be riding this guy. And you can plug him into two different spots. This is kind of like one of those, like, super all-weather, all-terrain utility vehicles that you could find on Autotrader, right? This is somebody who, yeah, I don't know, you can take the top off, you can go four-wheel-drive, you can put the top on. Like, it's just super friendly, any conditions. You can plug him into receiver, you can plug him into running back. And he's been great for us all season long. I expect him to have a huge day today against Miami in a very friendly matchup.
