MATT HARMON: It's hard to overstate the difference from having the husk of Dez Bryant, like Miles Boykin and all these other goofballs on the other end of Lamar's passes, to just an average starting receiver, which is what Sammy Watkins is. But I'm pretty excited about him this week because he was used as the top guy for Baltimore last week. Led the team with 36% of the air yards, 37 routes run, eight targets. He is looking like the top guy in this receiver Corps while Rashod Bateman is on IR. I really like it.
Also, used in a good way to get him into open field. Averaged eight yards per catch after the catch per reception. So love the usage for Sammy Watkins.
And oh, by the way, it's a revenge game. So yes, all things are good for Sammy Watkins. I think he's going to give you a sneaky like top 40 receiver value here in week two.
