Fantastica and Jack Em Popoy lead the MMFF 2018 box office

27 Dec – Whether they are together in the same movie or not, Vice Ganda and Coco Martin prove that they're the Metro Manila Film Festival box office kings as the early results showed recently.

As reported on Inquirer, MMFF spokesperson Noel Ferrer revealed recently that Martin's first collaboration with Maine Mendoza and Vic Sotto, "Jack Em Popoy", as well as Vice Ganda's movie, "Fantastica" are in the lead at the box office.

"The large piece of the pie was really that of Vice Ganda and that of Coco Martin and Vic Sotto," said Ferrer.

The film producer also added that the third place as of now is the Anne Curtis-starrer, "Aurora".

This year, the Metro Manila Film Festival presented eight movies that include "Otlum", "Rainbow's Sunset", "Mary, Marry Me", "The Girl In The Orange Dress", and "One Great Love". These movies will continue its run until 7 January.
