Fans at William Penn University Continue Toilet Paper-Throwing Tradition

Fans of William Penn University’s men’s basketball team continued the decades-old tradition of throwing toilet paper onto the court after the team scored its opening point against local rivals Grand View on Tuesday, November 26.

According to William Penn’s website, the tradition dates to the 1981-82 season against Central College. After William Penn moved to the Midwest Classic Conference in 2001, the contest against Grand View became the “toilet paper game," the university wrote.
