Amid her press tour for It Ends with Us, Blake Lively was gifted with a friendship bracelet inspired by her bestie Taylor Swift.

On Aug. 8, on the red carpet in London for the gala screening of her new film, a fan gave Lively a pink beaded friendship bracelet, captured by French entertainment network AlloCiné on TikTok.

The actress, 36, happily took the bracelet from the fan, saying, “Oh my gosh, thank you so much! Oh, that’s so sweet," in response. However, it was the next part of her response that has gone viral on the internet.

"I’m gonna put it here ‘cause it doesn’t go with my outfit, but I will wear it later," Lively finished, before putting the friendship bracelet to the side.

Lively's costar Isabela Ferrer is then also handed a friendship bracelet, as seen in the same video, and she puts hers on and gushes her many thanks to the fan.

The circulation of the TikTok video — a week after the red carpet — comes during a wave of drama surrounding the release of It Ends with Us, all involving the entire cast but centered on Lively and her costar, and the film's director, Justin Baldoni.

The two play the main characters in the movie, Lily and Ryle, and there have been numerous reports of a rift between them in real life.

Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, secured the rights to the book in 2019 and Lively's casting in the film was announced in January 2023. Lively also serves as a producer on the project.

Rumors of a rift between Lively and Baldoni began earlier in the summer when the cast embarked on the official press tour for the movie. Throughout the film’s promotion, Baldoni was largely absent from group appearances, including Book Bonanza and a surprise screening in June with Lively, Brandon Sklenar (who plays Atlas), author Colleen Hoover and Ferrer. Around the same time, Baldoni revealed he was recovering after being hospitalized with an infection for a week.

Speculation grew as the film held its New York premiere on Aug. 6. While Lively posed alongside all of her main costars, including Sklenar and Jenny Slate, Baldoni walked the red carpet with his wife, Emily, and his family. He also didn’t introduce the film ahead of the screening with Lively and Hoover, despite being the director of the project.

One source told PEOPLE that the clash is beyond Baldoni and Lively — it extends through the whole project and many of its parties.

"All is not what it seems," a set source told PEOPLE about the rift. "There is much more to this story. The principal cast and [author] Colleen Hoover will have nothing to do with him."

Amid the reported rifts, Baldoni hired crisis public relations manager Melissa Nathan of The Agency Group, a source familiar with the matter told PEOPLE.

Throughout the film's press tour, Baldoni has spoken highly of his costars. Ahead of the release, he praised Sklenar’s performance in an Instagram Stories post and during a conversation with PEOPLE, he said he was “mesmerized” by Lively during filming.

Baldoni also suggested to Entertainment Tonight during the New York premiere that Lively should direct the sequel, should it get put into production.

"I think that there are better people for that one," Baldoni said when asked if he wanted to adapt the 2022 novel. "I think Blake Lively's ready to direct, that's what I think.
