Fan Bingbing wins Excellence Awards at Busan International Film Festival

11 October – She may have not won her countrymen yet, but it seems that Fan Bingbing is already getting acknowledgment outside of China.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress was recently honoured with the Excellence Award of Asia Contents Awards at the 27th Busan International Film Festival.

Though she was unable to attend, Fan did relay her message via video, saying that it was an honour to be selected among so many actors in Asia as the winner.

Fan also stated that she is looking forward to work with more South Korean directors, producers and actors, and that she will fly to South Korea in person next year to participate in the next Busan International Film Festival.

It is reported that Fan has recently completed shooting a movie in South Korea, but that it has yet to be made public.

The actress was unable to attend the event herself
