Fan Bingbing teases Malaysian fans with Bahasa Melayu post

30 May - Fan Bingbing gets Malaysian fans excited when she suddenly updated her Instagram Story in Bahasa Melayu as a way to notify them that she is coming to town.

On 28 May, the "Empress of China" actress went on social media and wrote, "Tuan-tuan dan puan-puan (learned this from the plane), I can't wait to see you! Chicken rice ball, satay celup, coconut shake, assam fish, roti canai, char kuey teow, durian cendol! What else? Semua sedapnya! (everything is delicious!)"

She then tagged Tourism Melaka and added, "Come to Melaka, let's meet by chance!"

It is noted that Fan will be coming to Melaka on 14 June and will be staying for two days as part of Visit Melaka 2024. This was confirmed by Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, who said that he has met with Fan's international manager to discuss the matter.

"I believe the presence of Fan Bingbing, who's been appointed as ambassador for Visit Melaka 2024 (TMM 2024) will attract more tourists, especially from China and Asia, to visit Melaka," he stated.
