29 May – Chinese actress Fan Bingbing has recently unveiled the new look for her upcoming movie, "Cell Phone 2".

As reported on Epoch Times, the actress, who has always worn her hair long, recently shared a photo of herself with a new short do with wavy curls, writing, "Filming "Cell Phone 2" now. Wu Yue is very happy!"

Wu Yue is the name of the character Fan played in the original 2005 movie.

The original film revolves around a successful television personality, whose life is turned upside down after a message sent to his mistress brings serious crisis to his marriage.

In a previous interview, director Feng Xiaogang revealed that the upcoming sequel will further discuss how technology has stolen people's lives, adding that it will be both a comedy and horror film.

Fan will be reprising her role as Wu Yue in the sequel.
