“Family Guy”'s New Holiday Episode Features Stewie Trying to Get on Santa’s ‘Nice List’: Watch (Exclusive)

The animated comedy series' Christmas-themed special airs on Hulu on Monday, Nov. 25

Family Guy is getting in the holiday spirit.

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal a sneak peek of the comedy series' season 23 holiday special, which premieres on Hulu on Monday, Nov. 25.

In the clip, Stewie attempts to get back on Santa Claus' "nice list" by being extra cheerful to his family members, including dad Peter, brother Chris, sister Meg and family dog Brian. However, as Brian calls out the toddler for his true intentions, Stewie mentions that his generosity extended beyond his family, as he provided a "huge tip" while visiting a Starbucks.

As the scene cuts to Stewie inside the coffee shop, he gifts the barista $1,000. But, when asked how the money will change his life, the worker reveals he is actually the CEO of Starbucks "doing Undercover Boss" and plans to use the charitable donation toward "union busting."

Back home with his family, Stewie tells Brian, "The new, nice Stewie is here to stay," before he turns and calls out to the area surrounding him, "You hear that, Santa?"

Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE, showrunners and executive producers Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin tell PEOPLE how they approach holiday-themed Family Guy episodes after 22 previous seasons on air.

"We always approach our holiday episodes the same way: we try desperately to think of an episode we haven't done in 25 years, and if we land on one, we throw in a Christmas tree," they joke.

The pair adds, "We'd like to think that, over the years, our holiday episodes have grown more sophisticated and clever, but then again, the holidays themselves haven't changed all that much in thousands of years, so we're not too hard on ourselves."

As for what Family Guy fans can look forward to as the series nears its 24th season, the comedy duo tease, "We hope the upcoming season sees our widely populated town grow in ways that are true to our characters while also excavating new types of comedy. Absent that, we tell, like, a thousand jokes, and there's got to be at least one in there people will think is funny."

Family Guy's holiday special streams on Hulu on Nov. 25.
