As seen in the recent episode, when host Dingdong Dantes asks Manny which charity his family would donate PHP20,000 of their winnings to, he responds without skipping a beat, “Angat Buhay Foundation.”

Users praised the Calayan family for choosing to donate their prize to the newly formed foundation.

Others noted that the Calayans beat theater actors and spouses Robert Seña and Isay Alvarez, who are known to have openly supported President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s campaign for the May elections.

The Angat Buhay Foundation is an NGO that was set up to continue the work of the programs Robredo established under the Office of the Vice President (OVP). It is reportedly set to become the largest volunteer network in the country, leveraging the huge number of volunteers and supporters she amassed as part of the “pink movement” during the May 2022 presidential campaign.

Manny, a cosmetic surgeon, and his wife Pie, a dermatologist, are celebrity doctors who run the famous Manny & Pie Calayan Clinic, which is known to serve a number of famous clients.
