Falcon Struggles to Fly Off With Rat Snatched from DC Alley
A falcon struggled to fly off with a giant rat it had nabbed from a Washington alleyway, viral video shows.
Footage taken Thomas Walker on November 13 shows the hawk flailing its wings atop a trashcan, while dangling the rat from its talons, until it eventually drops the rodent behind the bin.
Speaking to Storyful, Walker said that he went outside to check if the falcon was stuck in the trashcan before he noticed he was just trying to catch some food.
