Extensive Flooding Seen in Hollister Amid Deadly California Storms
The Hollister Police Department said mandatory evacuations were no longer active as of Wednesday, January 11, but warned that “additional flooding is very likely.”
Footage released by the department shows extensive flooding in the area around Lover’s Lane and Highway 152, north of Hollister. Police said the video was shot on January 9.
San Benito County issued an evacuation notice for the area on Monday.
Thousands of Californians have been forced to flee their homes by extensive flooding caused by heavy rain.
