John Mayer and Katy Perry seem to be on good terms.

Nearly 10 years after ending their on-again, off-again relationship, the two musicians were spotted chatting while in attendance for Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet Tour stop in at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Nov. 17.

In a video shared by DeuxMoi on Instagram, Perry, 40, can be seen looking back at Mayer, 47, sitting in the row behind her and listening intently as he speaks expressively.

For the outing, the "Teenage Dream" singer sported a short blue dress with black boots and a fur-trimmed coat, while Mayer wore a casual black jacket and gray pants. They were photographed separately outside the venue.

The artists previously dated on and off from 2013 to 2015, during which they collaborated on the song "Who You Love" from Mayer's Paradise Valley album.

Perry previously spoke about Mayer during her stint as an American Idol judge in 2022, when contestant Noah Thompson performed the Grammy winner's 2009 hit "Heartbreak Warfare."

"Noah…I feel like maybe you should Wikipedia me," she said at the time. "You did great, but I can’t talk anymore. I'm triggered!"

Now, Perry is married to Orlando Bloom, with whom she welcomed her first daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in August 2020. The pair began dating in 2016, split the following year and rekindled less than a year later, before getting engaged in 2019.

In January, Mayer — who's been romantically linked to celebrities including Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and Taylor Swift in the past — spoke to pal Kelly Rizzo on her Comfort Food podcast about his romantic goals.

"People don't think I want to be married. absolutely want to be married," he said at the time. "You know the secret, which is that I'm actually fairly well-adjusted. And I so badly want to get married if only for my wife to just know in her heart, like, 'John will know what to do.'"

Other celebrities in attendance at Carpenter's Nov. 17 show included Cara Delevingne, Madeline Petsch, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Taylor Zakhar Perez and Blue Ivy Carter.

The "Espresso" singer's Short n' Sweet Tour will continue with a string of European shows in March 2025.
