Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant says new addition Dr Wendy Osefo is set to face "intimidation" throughout the reality show's fifth season.
As the new instalment continues to air on hayu and Bravo, the TV personality opened up on what to expect going forward – particularly when it comes to ongoing tension between long-standing cast member Karen Huger and the aforementioned newbie.
"I don't know if Karen is actually very honest as it relates to Wendy but I can say, I really feel like there was just a little bit of intimidation," she told Digital Spy as part of an exclusive interview.
"Wendy's very strong, she's very smart, she's very quick-witted. I love Wendy and I think Karen looked at her as a threat."
Dr Wendy, who is married to attorney Edward Osefo, was introduced on screen at the beginning of season 5. In recent episodes, she has voiced that Karen treats her as if they've just met every time they are together, despite knowing one another from work events.
Karen, on the other hand, has made no secret of the fact that she's "not impressed" by Dr Wendy.
Later on in the chat, Bryant teased that Michael Darby confessing to wife Ashley about how he "ended up going back to a hotel" with someone else – something that was first glimpsed in the trailer – provides season 5 with one of its most "explosive" finales yet.
"I'm looking forward to that just as much as you are. But, Michael is, I will say, the gift that keeps on giving and our season finale with Michael was unlike anything I've ever encountered."
