Exclusive: Hollyoaks recasts Ollie role as Aedan Duckworth leaves the soap
Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has recast the role of Ollie Morgan, Digital Spy can exclusively reveal.
Aedan Duckworth made his final on-screen appearance as Ollie this week, featuring in scenes that were filmed in March before the UK lockdown.
Scenes shot more recently showed Ollie's loved ones grow concerned after he left the village abruptly in an off-screen exit, leaving a note behind to explain his departure.
A Hollyoaks spokesperson exclusively told Digital Spy: "Aedan Duckworth is no longer appearing in Hollyoaks and his role has been recast."

No further information has been revealed over the reasons for Aedan's exit, while an announcement over who'll now be playing Ollie is expected at a later date.
Ollie's presence is required on screen in the coming months, as Hollyoaks' flashforward episode last year showed him in the village in scenes set on December 31, 2020.
After Ollie left the village this week, his loved ones learned that he had gone to stay with his mum Scarlett.
Show bosses signalled Aedan's departure by removing him from the show's opening titles.

Aedan started appearing as Ollie in January 2018, when the character was introduced as Luke Morgan's secret son.
Ollie went on to appear in one of Hollyoaks' most-acclaimed issue-based storylines, as he was sexually abused by his football coach Buster Smith.
The character's other storylines have included becoming a young father to baby Thierry, who was put up for adoption.
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Monday to Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
