Dash & Lily has been giving viewers an extra touch of holiday cheer as the season gets started. While there were plenty of surprises during the show's first season, one of the most exciting was when the Jonas Brothers appeared to sing one of their Christmas songs, "Like It's Christmas."

The cameo came as a shock to some, but it’s actually not surprising that the band would make a guest appearance. Nick Jonas, who got even more screen time later on in the episode, also serves as a producer on the show behind the scenes.

So what was it like to work with Nick and the rest of the JoBros? Seventeen got to chat with Dante Brown and Austin Abrams, who play BFFs Boomer and Dash, all about the big cameo moment.

"It was cool to see all of them up there. They were touring while we were shooting last year, so for them to come off one of the biggest tours ever to do this one song show was cool. And then to meet, have a regular conversation with, and just kick it with them was great. Nick was just a regular person at his job just doing this thing," Dante Brown told Seventeen. "He's really down to earth and calm. It was all love."

Even though Nick has been working on the show since the series began, it was actually the first time the cast got to meet him.

"It was the first time I was meeting him. I was very happy to talk to him since he is one of the producers on it. He's a good guy who wants to show to be as great as possible and I really appreciate that about him," Austin Abrams told Seventeen.

While Nick’s Dash & Lily appearance seemed like a one-time thing, I’m still holding out hope he comes back if the show returns for season two.
