Ex–“GMA3” anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes go 'Instagram official,' announce podcast after affair controversy
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are Instagram and podcast official.
The former GMA3 anchors, who were booted from the show earlier this year after news of their affair broke in late 2021, announced Wednesday that they have teamed up with iHeartMedia for a podcast together.
Premiering Dec. 5, Amy & T.J. will feature meaningful conversations about current events, pop culture, and everything in between, according to its press release, which also noted that "nothing is off limits."
The new show will mark the first time Robach and Holmes will "speak publicly since their own names became a part of the headlines," reads the release.
Robach and Holmes also shared the news in a joint Instagram post with the caption, "How's this for Instagram official?" and the hashtag #silentnomore.
Robach, who joined ABC News in 2012, and Holmes, who joined in 2014, began hosting GMA3 together in 2020. They made headlines in November 2022 when they were photographed holding hands while they were still married to their respective spouses. The co-anchors were temporarily taken off the air the following month amid an internal investigation, with the network officially cutting ties with them in January.

"After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it's best for everyone that they move on from ABC News," a company spokesperson said at the time in a statement to EW. "We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions."
