Everyone’s Obsessed With This Psychometrics Personality Quiz That Matches You With TV Characters
Researchers at Open Psychometrics created a scientific version of a “Which Character Are You?” quiz.
Now, everyone’s sharing their results on Twitter.
Alright, so all of us are probably (hopefully) in the second or third week of social distancing, which means you might be getting a *little* bored staying home every day. You’ve probably read five new books, completed all your puzzles, achieved a five-star island on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and rewatched your fave TV shows more than once by now. So what else is there to do? Take a a good old-fashioned quiz, of course!
Enter in the unlikeliest Twitter trend to grace our feeds these past few weeks: Open Psychometric’s Statistical “Which Character” Personality Quiz. I’ll admit it: When I first saw the word “statistic” in the title, I wasn’t sure if I’d proceed. But when I learned it would match my personality with a fictional character’s traits, it sold me.
So here’s how it works: The test basically consists of adjective pairs with a sliding scale between them. You, quiz taker, have to drag the slider to where you think you fall on the spectrum based on the adjectives. The good news is that it’s an adaptive quiz, meaning you can select how many questions you want to do. The shortest version is only 14 questions, while the MEGA version is 130—a perfect way to kill time!
And if you’re still not sold, check out all these people on Twitter either (a) gushing or (b) lamenting about their results:
