Evacuations Ordered as Telegraph Fire Spreads in Miami, Arizona

People were ordered to evacuate their homes in parts of Miami, Arizona, as the Telegraph Fire grew to more than 41,000 acres by June 6.

Residents west of the town’s limits were given the “go” notification, meaning they should evacuate on June 6, while other parts of Miami and Claypool were on a “set” notification, meaning they should be alert to the “significant danger” in the area.

This footage was taken by Bryan Goslin, who said he captured it from his ranch in Miami.

The fire began on June 4 south of Superior, which is southeast of Phoenix. Authorities said the blaze was likely human-caused.
