Evacuations were ordered in parts of southeastern Arizona on June 6 as a wildfire that started on Friday grew to more than 40,000 acres.
The fire began on June 4 south of Superior, southeast of Phoenix. Authorities said the blaze was likely human-caused.
Residents of Miami west of the town’s limits were given the “go” evacuation notification on June 6, while other parts of Miami and Claypool were on a “set” notification.
